If you wish to become an excel expert UK who is also certified in Microsoft Excel you must first sit for and pass the Exam 77-602 which is a Microsoft Application Specialist exam. There are also practice exams that can be downloaded. They will give you basic understanding of the structure of the exam as well as the objectives you must work towards when writing an answer. There are also trial exams for free through companies such as Ucertify and the Certiport website which will offer you test vouchers for certification.

Certiport is also the website where you must register for the exam. Click on “Office Specialist” and select the link “Getting Certified.” Then click “Register Now” and make an account to register for the exams. You will also have to select a testing center and to find one, enter your zip code for Certiport to give you results. You will also have to pay a fee for the test voucher.

At the testing center, you will have to go through a simulation where you will have to navigate through it as you would do with the real software. Once you pass you will receive your certificate and can consider yourself an Excel expert.
